If I remember right, that was built fro drag racing. Here is the site that I found some info on it. I looked for a thread here on one but came up empty...

The drag chassis was originally designed and used for a side event at the NR/CTPA Spring Nationals and World championship events.
The idea was to see how fast we could get a monster truck to go in a 60' drag race.
About 15 or so have been made most with a 16" wheelbase. A few had a 14' wheelbase.
They sold for $100 for just the chassis. $125 with the wheely bar.
