Got my Clod back up and running. It now has 55 turn Integy motors running on 3S LiPo. For the radio, I went with a Futaba 3PL 2.4ghz. I'm really liking the radio. With a bump of the Dual-rate switch it switches between 4ws and crab steer. I need to get the tires glued so I can start crawling with it. It's quicker than I expected with the 55 turns on 3S.

Shot a little donut video.

Interesting combo. I was not expecting it to move that fast with the 55Ts mounted up. Do you still have the battery mounted in the back? I noticed it was squatting pretty good in the rear. If you can get it mounted lower in the center of the chassis it will preform a lot better on the rocks.

The battery is mounted low in the center of the chassis. It's quicker now that the tires are glued. I may go with smaller pinions. I set a 1/10 short course body on to get an idea how it would look with the Proline Silverado HD short course body I want for it. Should look good with the 5-1/2" Proline Flat Iron tires I'm planning.

Thanks. They're aluminum wheels I made several years ago.
The new wheels will be 2.2s with ProLine Flat Iron XLs.

Holy crap! That is some serious articulation! It should do well on the rocks and I am loving that body choice! Different from what most are using and that is a good thing.

That's nothing compared to the articulation it had with the cantilevered shocks. I've started masking the body and hope to have it painted this weekend. The short course bodies are big. It's 11-1/4" wide by 22" long.
