Finally!
I got the chance to run T2 in the deep snow.

It goes decent, but I don't think it has enough clearance in the middle. It was kind of a mixed bag, as it doesn't go quite as well as some of my other builds, but it doesn't load up a lot with snow either. The geared up 550's have quite a bit of punch for slinging the snow, and the 4WS was welcome in the deep stuff and did help with turning. Run-time seemed decent, but churning through the snow did take a toll. I need to run it more, but the next few days are spoken for unfortunately.

I was actually a bit dissapointed with it at first, but things did get better as the run went on and it was able to traverse deep stuff, even inclines, although sometimes it seemed like it was just barely.

Nice pictures :)

I was wondering how it would be in deep snow with the low chassis, but figured the extra power would be a big help.

Low chassis is probably a necessary evil with that much power, as it looks to handle it with ease

Battery is ready time to hit the snow :partyman:

Thanks!
I've got it jacked up a bit, but I'd like to get it up there a bit more.

We expect some night pics in your thread too. :)

Oh yeah, and I still have not gotten used to the glow of the 550's arcing under full-throttle under 4S power. :)

Thanks, as I was running it today, all I could think of was:
(documentary type setting like you see for wild animal shows)

Ah.... and here we see the tamiya clodbuster (mod-clod-imus-supremous) in it's natural habitat.
The rooster tails as it bounds across the snow.... a display to all others of it's supremacy in this environment.
Indy trucks shy away from this beast in this setting, as they know they cannot match it.
