It's actually an old towel

I reall do want a new pit mat though. I was looking at the duratrax ones last night. That would be much easier to organize things as I work on them.

I just ordered the portable one in Skulls. That'll be nice to have a mat laid out. I can lay the towel on top of the mat and be good to go.

  I looked at those matts   a little out of my price range.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming to the Lord,
"Wow, What a ride!"

The only ones that I've found cheaper than that is the duratrax mats. The Cowrc mats aren't too bad. Some of the other brand cost more than an 1/8 buggy.

Well I got the Dahm's Slammer XL8 body in the mail yesterday. I set it on te chassis to see how it would fit and line up. I think this will end up being the body that gets used. It looks freakin sleek on that the chassis just like the ESP Clodzilla 3 ads in the magazines.

Thank you. I think it will be pretty sweet. I have one thing that I'm doing to make it a little more realistic looking as well that I haven't seen anyone do yet. I think it will look pretty sweet.

That body is freaking awesome! I want to see some paint on it so we can get a better look at those lines. This is going to be one cool build Juice.

BTW, where did you get that body?
