My "Box"

Post by CLODZ_72_2003 » Tue Dec 05, 2006 3:49 am

Well, I currently have 3 rigs I'm working on (R1 Stealh crawler, Hilift, And a globerotter) but I always wanted a Lunchbox and I figured I could do it while the others are in progress as well  . I guess you could call it an in between project, it definitly was simple enough to build compared to the average 3 speed  ...I didnt want to do the usual LB theme but something a bit different. I Had some oldschool decals laying around and slapped on some paint. It's basically stock other than the bearings and chrome wheels installed

very nice!!! if you plan to run it. parma came out with a lexan LB body that i would recomend. my hard body is trashed. i threw a 19t fireball in mine and it flips over the wheeliebar now and winds up on the roof. but with careful throttle control you can sustain wheelies. who makes the chrome wheels???

I love the chrome wheels, way better than the clown car yellow. The yellow wheels also looked like rejects from a lego set to me. I also like the theme, different but looks like it came with those decals.

Thanx Fellas 8)

Yeah, I really don't want to run this body, I'll have to look into getting a lexan replacement

As for the chrome wheels, I got them off the bay , I think it came out to $20 shipped total

I can find a link for anyone that would like to get a set
