 i agree with the r&d and how many was made-tried and retried to develope it.not cost of alum which isn't that much.if cost of alum was that much it wouldn't be worth building our own chassis.it just seems you don't get as much whith the stick as you do other chassis.i personally have no feelings for it one way or the other then if it works for it's intended purpose then it's worth it.if you like it buy it.after all,it's your $ and your the one that gets to drive it.

Will all you bashers just shut up? You cant say CRAP until YOU build one with exact tolerances so you can mass produce it, then sell it for less. But until you do that you cant say crap, so just shut up...you make yourself seem smarter.

This thread needs to get back on topic or it will be moved!
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

I just bought a Gecko II. I should have it by next week (sent the money today). The two people I know personally that have Geckos like them a lot. One of the guys I know has two Geckos fully RTR! I'm exited about getting mine. All of the people I see online with Gecko trucks seem to really like theirs as well.

I just bought a Gecko2 last weekend. I really like the truck, even without locked diffs, it climbs really good. I am not a hardcore crawler or serious basher, my trucks mostly sit in the house, when I do run it, I run it inside lol, maybe someday I will take them outside...

I would make my own frame or go with the stick. If you want cheap then build your own thats what I did but it is not perfict but if you want a high quality rig that has an insane center ground clearnce to center of gravity I would go with the stick. It cost more but you know it works good and will have a tuff rig.
