How far apart does my upper and lower link need to be. I'm building a crawler and Im very new to the crawler world. I cut my links last night they are 8 1/2 inches .I'm wanting to build my own chassis .any help would be greatly appreciated

It's hard to give an exact answer on this. It depends on where you are mounting the links. With a Clod you dont have to worry about pinion angle, but you want to make sure you have the caster right for the steering. I would set it up to have the axle positioned at 0 caster or slight negative caster, that will give the best steering performance.
