You will need to drill a 1/8" hole in the bottom of each axle tube, opposite the one already in the upper portion of them. You can look at a picture of our CPE-AXL1 installed to see where the lower hole needs to go, or just center it in the bottom portion of the tube.

You can use either #4-40 x 3/4" hardware or m3x18. Both will work with the conical washers as well as the rod end on the links.

Thanks. Soon as the conical washers arrive I'll be doing the deed.

On another note, but related, about CPE-SPA1212. The tech note says, "These spacers also require you to also use the stock Clodbuster drive hubs.

Is that opposed to any other hub? (My intention would be to mount 2.2" wheels on this Clod.

They mount directly to the 12mm hex nut and look like they could use a scosche more room once the tires are installed. (2.2" ripsaws -- 0.5" drop"). Thanks.

Update: Scratch the Ripsaws! Just found these on your website.

Much better dimensions. Ordered 4.

With a 2.2" wheel, you won't need anything else to mount your wheels. We just put that there as a stock Clodbuster/TXT wheel will NOT bolt right up to those adapters. Thanks!
