What turns are your servos

Post by CLODZ_72_2003 » Sun May 04, 2014 10:11 pm

Looking to upgrade to aluminum servo arms for my CPE servo.....found out servos have different turns that would allow different aluminum arms to be used....23t 24t 25t

What turns are yours?

Thanks Brett

turns or teeth on spline? never heard of the servo having a turn rating only oz. torque and speed.

I'm guessing t stands for turn, the axial aluminum servo horn comes in those 3 options

They are spline drives so there are 3 different sizes ...Why they cant all get along and make one frigin size is beyond me, but been that way for ever and ever. normally your servo manufacture will have the specs on spline size

CPE website says standard futuba spline.... Looks like standard spline is 25, so I just learned something new and my answer

Futaba 25 Teeth seems to be the most common that Ive run into anyways.

Yes, our servos are 25T (25 spline), which matches the Futaba splined arms. Most all RTR servos and "off brand" servos also use a 25T spline. Thanks!
