Awesome work CPE! Hmmmm i have a set of built wraith axles waiting on a build.
Chuck Norris and Mr. T walked into a bar. The bar was instantly destroyed, as that level of awesome cannot be contained in one building.

We're now offering aluminum upper/lower 4-link kits designed specifically for the Barbarian chassis. These are the same length as the stock Axial links, and will give your chassis between a 13" and 13-1/2" wheelbase.

Picked up our 2nd run of chassis yesterday, and most of this order has already sold out as well. Think we only have 2 chassis remaining. Our free shipping offer ends today on these!

I have a good question. Would there be any issues getting the stock Clod gear case with it axel tubes onto this chassis?

This chassis is soooooo tempting. I have a Wraith that sits on the shelf collecting dust. It is built with a Holmes Hobbies ESC and 13T Crawler motor which is great for climbing over stuff but a little slow. I may see about dropping a faster motor into it and see if that makes me use it more. Beyond that putting the axles under this chassis and turning it into a monster may be my next option.

Okay thanks Andy. After seeing what Spidubic did with his KK chassis I figured it would be possible to do the same thing with the Barbarian chassis.

Your best bet if you wanted to go with Clod axles would be to use a 4-link mounting layout like the ESP chassis use. That way you can eliminate the upper 4-link mount, and the high-mounted upper links. Doing that, you MAY only need to move/modify the outermost chassis brace on each end.

@$40 shipped that is a great deal on a nice looking chassis.. to bad a decent wraith is $300 or so haha Would you ever consider making shorter links to make a short wheelbase setup? like 11"-12"?

Maybe a Clod axled version should be made? As those (clod axles) can be made up for around $100 less with tires/wheels..

You do realise you don't need a whole wraith right?
Hit the ebay chop-shops for axles/tranny/driveshafts.

I don't need Clod axels as I can use one of my Clods as a donor if I decided to go this route.

Also I can shoot up Wraith axels at Epay.

We could do shorter links no problem, but you'd need to be careful with the angle of the shocks from the axles to the chassis.
