He told you that "The BARBARIAN" is coming this mid september. Its a new chassis :D

Here's a shot of the 1st Barbarian chassis plate off the laser cutter! This will be a full-length, CRD styled chassis designed around the Axial Wraith driveline. Plates are a full 1/8" thick, and will be set up for around a 13" WB. Additional information, photos, and pricing/presale coming soon to the website!

Is that a crawler type chassis? It looks cool.

No, it's a race chassis. Loosely designed to look like the lower half of the full-size CRD chassis used in Monster Jam.

Oh that's sweet. It should work with clod axles as well won't it?

I never laid Clod axles under it, but I'd expect some of the cross braces will be in the way. This chassis was designed specifically around using the Axial driveline in it.

Well it looks sweet. I might have to finally build an Axial truck.

something I thought looked good is beveled edges on the plates. When powder coated it almost looks tubeish...

just a thought

I've got to admit.... that was my first thought too....
Well I hope someone lays some clod axles under it, because I'm curious now.

I have some AX10 axls and drive train I could use on this... I like it! Does the AX-10 transmission plate line up with the holes on the bottom?

Yes. We made the trans plate with holes for both the Wraith and AX10 style transmissions to install.
