My first Pulling event with the Clod

Post by vwlvr1980 » Tue Nov 26, 2013 4:25 pm

This past weekend i attended my first rc pulling event (Big Bird Pull at the Hanger) and loved it!! I bought this truck for $100 and with the help of a great guy Jim AKA 6x6_BigDollars we got it ready for the pull. The atmosphere at the event was very laid back and everybody went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Truck ran great but i had the wrong battery setup so i never made it passed the full pull line. Looking forward to pulling with the clod again!

Sweet! So how much weight do they start out with for that class?

I just went to a pulling event this past weekend and entered in the 7lb class. We start out at 100lbs.

Nice job for your first pulling event.

WELL THE CLOD WEIGHT WAS A 14 POUND TRUCK AND THE SLED WAS 28 POUNDS AND

YOU CAN ONLY CHANGE THE PINON,THIS WAS A BOX STOCK CLOD THAT PULLS ON DIRT.

NOW THAT 2 WHEEL DRIVE 7 POUND TRUCK THAT PULLED THE 100 POUND PULLED ON RUG

AND YOU CAN CHANGE ALL THE GEARING IN IT.
