It's here, well almost. :D We have a few already but we can already see what we need to alter for the next batch of chassis. Not to worry we'll have the updated chassis ready to go VERY soon!

The new RCRockGear chassis based off the 'Pede transmission and TLT axles is here....

Bulu

Price will be $65 shipping within the USA and Canada. Chassis is made from 6061 T6 aluminum. Stainless hardware is included just like the rest of our chassis and kits. It's also all CNC'ed just like our other items.

The Bulu will allow you to run a standard 6-cell stick pack along the top of the uper front links, the chassis is just wide enough to do so.

What you see is what you get for the $65 shipped! We will start taking orders next week!! We are only 3-4 weeks ahead of schedule with this chassis, kinda fun to be ahead of our own plans.

Our prototype Bulu chassis rig has a full 3" of center ground clearance and a 11.75" wheelbase. It runs T/E-Maxx tie-rods as links. Super smooth and light weight setup!

We hope people enjoy this chassis as much as we do... :D

Wow, very cool. What alterations do you plan to make to the next batch? Any pics of this chassis fully built up? I've been waiting for a nice TLT chassis that isn't just eye candy, this may be it. 8)

At least one person likes it for it's purpose and not it's looks..... Too many show queens on CT nowdays.

The next batch will allow the user to adjust the posistion of the tranny either more fore or aft on the chassis. Maybe a couple more very small details but for the most part this is how it'll stay.

I'm a fan of both, but form always must follow function. To me, things always look better if they look like they perform. You can always go in with the fine files and Mother's Mag Polish later, but the design and engineering end has to be done right from the begining.

Can't wait to see some built up pics of this one. So far the only other decent TLT chassis seems to be the PRP one, and it's just too big, and kinda pricey.

Not at this time.

Links can be had pretty cheap at most hobby shops that sell Traxxas stuff.... T/E-Maxx tierods with the Bulu give you a 11.5" - 11.75" Wheelbase.
