Post by The Knight » Thu May 25, 2017 10:10 am

On Facebook MST announced a new shaft driven MT with a very detailed chassis.

280mm Wheelbase, Q3 2017.
Looks awesome I think.

I really like that. Looks like a cross between a Wheely King and a SMT-10.

I think it will be a perfect replacement for the Wheely King. 11" wheelbase will fit a lot of 1:10 bodies perfectly.

MST updated their facebook page with a short teaser vid of a working prototype:
https://www.facebook.com/MST.tw

It looks really good with the 80s silverado-esque body and white wheels, though i will echo what some comments say that
the axle width looks kinda narrow.

It does look tall and narrow. Tyres look good, wheels look wider than most. The axles must be narrow as the wheels look like they have max offset, similar to Wild Dagger wheels.

That truck has a great look to it. Would make a great looking mud truck. Any idea when they will be available? Definitely going to buy one.

Needs clod sized tires for a better monster truck look.

Clod tires make everything better! For some reason I like it just the way it is though. Reminds me of an old school lifted truck on 44s or 46s. Tube chassis kind of kills the old school look, but I really think it looks great.

Sweet looking truck! When is this going to be released? I have been looking for a WK for a while, but if this is coming, I might have to wait.

SMT-10s are cool too, but I hate the width of the Wraith axles used.

Not sure Jeff, they are putting the teasers out now, so probably 6 months

Someone called it on FB. Looks like a Clod body on a Wheely King! At least a stretched Wheely King.
