hahaha oh my god. That's amazing!
@Tad: Can you please upload a photo showing stock Clod tires next to Pro-Line Destroyer? I think about buying Destroyer but I think they are smaller.

Yes a nice sticky tire would be good for climbing, and fast handling - but the hard compounds are fun for donuts and slides, etc...Thats great they are available in both!

Not sure if it will last (haven't run them yet) but I cleaned a set of stock tires I had with a rag and WD-40 (only thing I had that would get the white residue off these NEW CLod tires) and afterwards they feel very tacky compared to my other sets of stockers???

They can be stretched onto the ofna wheels but they don't look good in my opinion. The wheel will need to be narrowed as well for the tires.

I have a set of freestyle axles. I use rc4wd 12mm hex for 6mm axle. They worked out nicely.

The rims are very strong. I have ran them hard with no issues.

Today I got my new Tributes and I am impressed!
For a low price of 15 Euros/16 Dollars I never got such a good tuning part!

The plastics is bit soft and flex. I feels good in my hands
All parts fits perfect.
The 3 wideners looks all the same and seems to fit on Clod Buster and Axial SMT10. Good thinking!

Looks fantastic, very clean, nothing to fault. Many details on wheel caps. There's two different types of caps: hole for fast changing and closed for scale look! Good thinking!

A foam ring as "adapter" for the big foam inserts.Good thinking!

This is in my eyes a really "intelligent" tuning part for clod buster. Many good ideas. I like them. I think you'll get more (and cheaper) as you do it on Pro-Line Brawler rims.

I was running my jconcepts firestorm tires on my txt1 rims till my jconcepts rims were ready. Today when I tried to transfer the tires over I found that the jconcepts rims are slightly smaller (approx 2mm) than the clod/txt1 ones and I think my firestorm tires might have been stretched out because of this. They don't fit too well over the JC rims now.

I'm guessing that's what the original post meant by narrowing the wheel bread... :)

just info for guys swapping tires around.

Anyone know if there's a way to shrink my tires a tad back to fit the tribute wheels?

How about putting a rubber band around the rim for the tire to seat against?
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

What part is stretched? The width of the tire bead that mounts to the wheels or the diameter of the tire opening?

that'll help center the tire on the wheel but it's going to leave a gap where the outer lip of the wheel is supposed to meet the molded rubber step of the tire.

the inner diameter of the tire is now stretched leaving the wheel with about a 1mm play when fitted in the tire.

This might sound silly but soak it in ice water maybe?

So you're saying that the rim you used smashed the bead of the tire thinner? Possibly heating the tire could expand the rubber a bit.

Question about the new jconcepts wheels and tires:

How are the tires normally held onto the wheels?

Do they have to be glued? Or are they (normally) a snug fit like the stock wheels and tires are?
