The wheels are just slightly smaller than stock. I have glued stock tires to the wheels with no problems. I would just leave the tires off for a few days and see if the go back to stock shape.

You will need to glue these like most newer tires. They are soft and will not stay on the rims if you don't. My stock tires never stayed on after I started running anything over a stock motor.

Yes it is a neon yellow like there race wheels.

I picked up a set of black and a set of gray ones wheels i thought they should look good with my MM body. what is your thought about the Tires? how are they lasting to the abuse that they see from these big trucks? what about compound that they come in (soft could be softer or other way around)? anyone custom cut one yet? try to make it hook up better?

They are holding up and working great. I run gold on carpet and the blue on dirt and concrete. No need for modification they hook up nicely..

The black wheels look nice with my MM body.

I just got my wheels and tires in and they look great, i put the black center caps on the gray wheels and the gray center caps on the black wheels i think they look great and the med compound tires are a little harder then i thought they would be

Any chance they will release a neon green set of wheels? They will look amazing with the design I have in mind with my retro build.

There isn't any plans to offer green but you never know. This was a color they use on there off road wheels so they already had it to use for a option.

Great write up Tad, got my first set tires in today other 2 coming separate for some reasn. Man after seeing in person these tires are spot on late 80's just love the look of them look perfect on my Digger build.

Also I see what you were saying on the dia. of JC wheels vs the stock Clod. Think I might get a set of the wheels, as it does look better imo with the smaller dia. wheels and like you said on the width as well. Gives it that realistic bulge of the tire.

Just wondering has anyone cut or modified the foams in the tires? How do you get the white foam to not bunch up when installing the tires on rims?
