Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming to the Lord,
"Wow, What a ride!"

My next non Clod based build is going to be a brushless rally car.. Like a Tamiya XV-01 w/ a HPI Subaru WRX or The Tamiya Lancia Delta body

CC asked what his was going to be.

I suggest a clod axle based 6X6 or better.

BUT, It has to have some type of theme. Huge type Diamond mine style dump truck?

Or.... Maybe you can build up an all terrain vehicle. 6X6 as well.

Another theme truck with front and rear axles....... You have done it. Build a truck with articulated steering, a few pivot joints, and something cool.

Good enough?

There is already at least one RC Tonka dozer out there. The guy has modded a few Tonkas in this manner.

Pretty cool, but if you REALLY want to make points with me, make the dozer more realistic.

For something a little more in line with 4X4 trucks, how about a scale trail truck?

I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

That would be cool, but that would be pretty complex, you'd need at least a 4-channel stick-type radio to make that work I would think....and there there is the prop and rudder systems...
........and it HAS to work, or it's just a poser....... not cool. [-X

Has anyone ever built a truly cool three-wheeled Clod before?

He is looking for suggestions I gave him one.. Just because it's what I plan to do is irrelevant don't single me out cause I made a nonclod suggestion

- my other clod build I won't be building cause it's a tuber by John and it will be my last build as I think 4 clods will be enough

Every clod build has been done so it's hard to be original..

The 3 wheel thing is kind of cool looking. if he made it to were the front tire pivioted that would of been cool. who on here was trying to made a clod piviot from the middle he was making his own frame oh i wish i could remember wonder if he ever got it to work. and on the duck truck i was just going to take a decoy and mount it to a frame so that it would just be the body  Ill come up with something im looking on E-BAY and a couple of other places.

Swamp buggies are cool, but the only thing I can think of when I look at that is:
"You might be a redneck if...."
