Hey yall, been dealing with this for about a week now with no luck... My receiver dies when I steer I bought a new servo jr 126mg and still have the same issue running a mmpro and a 2s lipo, never had this issue before. Was useing a sr3000 receiver, then tried a am style then a losi spectrum all the same issue. What am I overlooking?

Use a bec for your power to the servos

X2^^^
The MMP does not have a very strong BEC.

After I posted I checked the amperage going to the esc, it was 1.3 amps at 6 volts without any input. With the servo moving it dropped to half an amp but the voltage stayed at 5.5. So time for a bec it seems, thanks yall

or put a capacitor on the receiver...personally, i use a 4700uf capacitor and it stops the voltage drop...i just wire the capacitor to a spare servo wire and plug it into the batt terminal on the receiver...cheaper than buying a BEC...

The capacitor is just a bandaid fix for the real problem which is little to no amperage

Some servos are current hogs. I run Savox servos in my mod SCT and I have to run a cap with it. If I don't I get brown outs. My Airtronics servo with more torque but 0.01 seconds slower doesn't need a cap. It's weird.

ya it is weird for sure..i just cant see that big a drain..the power has to go somewhere and its not going to torque..maybee very innefficient servo..a ext bec is never a bad idea though
