Hi all

I'm a new joiner to the site. I joined after a tip off on Tamiyclub about Clodtalk. I live in the UK and got into the rc car world 18 months ago. Found it a nice relaxing past time on an evening to unwind.

I'm building a clod. I've also a Tamiya buggy and a lunchbox. I'm slightly modifying my Clod. It's the stock chassis but I've lowered it down a little using different shocks. stock chassis has been modified to lower the clod. Intend on running dual esc and dual lipo. It's a work in progress at the mo!

Being my first clod so far my advice has been from TC but with a good recommendation I was pointed to the existence of clodtalk for some specialist info on all things clod :)

Cheers!

Buggyjam

I'm new to this board. I just took my Clod Buster out of storage. It was unused for about 12+ years. I have get new batteries and tryout my controller (Futaba Magnum Junior). This was my first real RC truck. So I'm relearning this all over again. I wanted to use this just in my backyard or maybe on the beach.

Welcome!
You can definitely build one heck of a crawler out of a clodbuster.
There's lots of guys on here that have done it that should be able to help you out.

I've been meaning to join this forum for a while. I've been a forum member at RC10talk for a while and decided to join here as well since I always had a love for the monster trucks. I've been working on a custom Clodbuster for a while now and I'm hoping to share my experiences and gain some knowledge about the building and setup of these trucks. I've been into the rc hobby off and on since the late 80's. I have around 40 cars and trucks in my collection. Most are vintage 80's-early 90's with the exception of a vxl 4wd Slash, Stampede, and an AE 4.2 Factory Team truck. I have plans for more modifications to my current clod and putting together some ideas for a future custom clod build. Also, the scaler/crawler scene has finally started to catch my interest so I've been looking into that as well. I figured all of this might be well suited to this forum and I'm looking forward to hearing from everyone.

I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.
