Gear Reduction Units

Post by The_Bishop » Thu Feb 26, 2004 12:51 am

Is there anything on the calendar to suggest that these will be manufactured again?

I'm sure we will bring them back again at some point. No date set though.

I just figured I'd ask because there certainly does seem to be a market for them.

Due to popular request we will be bringing back the 7:1 reduction unit.
A small limited production run should be ready to ship around May 13th or so.
If you have been looking for a set act quickly as it is a limited run.

We are also working to producing a smaller 3 or 4 to 1 unit that should be ready by late summer.

Clod with 9 tooth pinion would be 43.46:1

Using the gear reduction can give a range between: 53:1 to 268:1
So its up to you depending on how much power or how slow you want to go.

Although they are no longer available here's a link to the old 7 to 1 web page. It has a gear ratio chart at the bottom.
