 Re: MRP HIGH ROLLER
Very cool. I have never seen a high roller before joining this site. It's a cool looking truck.

 Re: MRP HIGH ROLLER
Im not getting the duraration as stated in RCCA. Im using a 1500 mah and Im only getting 12 min. I think I may be going faster. I tried a 2500 mah and get 25 min.

 Re: MRP HIGH ROLLER
RCCA just ran them non stop at full throttle, no slowing down for corners. When they slowed for corners it reduced the runtime.

 Re: MRP HIGH ROLLER
That's what I did. I think the motor is too old and tired. I will try a ESC and new motor with a lower pinion gear. The reverse sucks.

 Re: MRP HIGH ROLLER
Well I tried a Rs540sh motor and the speed is faster bur runtime is still not to par. I have tried running at 1/2-3/4 speed and runtime inproved to 18 min off road. So this is a start. I have modified the motor mount and Im going to run a 12 or 14 tooth gear. 18 tooth is fast so 12 should slow it down to the right duraration. Stock pinion was 18t-35t. The stock motor I know nothing about other than it's slightly bigger and bad.

 Re: MRP HIGH ROLLER
Trial and error. Don't let it get you down. You'll get it right eventually. Post some vids when it's just right.

 Re: MRP HIGH ROLLER
I can't believe it. I found another ONE!!! Plus I found some 10 Tooth gears to get some more runtime.

 Re: MRP HIGH ROLLER
I finially put in a ESC. I had to make a servo adapter harness to make it work. I didn't want to cut the esc servo plug off. I just can't stand doing that anymore. It looks crappy. Now they are much smoother and better.

 Re: MRP HIGH ROLLER
The esc makes it much better to drive. I have tried the stock pinion and the Esc and motor get warm and shut down intermitly. I tried a 14 Tooth and the speed is lost but the power and runtime have improved. Im going to have to try and find some heat sinks for the motor and add some to the ESC.

 Re: MRP HIGH ROLLER
I actually have one of these (Parts Anyways) The chassis and tub is gone but I think the rest of it is there. It is the white parts one. I was thinking of using the body and tubtop for a scaler. Now I might have to rethink that.
