sounds lie it might need to be reprogrammed/setup... do you have the instruction manual for it?

I still have the instructions. There was a small paper in the box saying if the Blue LED light is on then its on forward and if it's on the Red LED light then its on reverse. When I try to reverse the red light flashes on but the only thing that happens. It makes this faint buzzing sound through the motors...

that sounds like it might be a bad ESC... :? :yuck: :/

do you have a different motor or esc you could try out? how about the trim on the transmitter, is it centered? just throwing out some ideas...

I got it figured out, on the last step where it says " Move the throttle to full brake and then press the setup button (the LED lamp will turn off)" just move the throttle to reverse. I guess that was my problem because it said move to full brake position so I assumed to just not move the throttle. It reverses now but abit of a delay like 1.5 a sec but thats not a problem to me :D but thank you for your help rcktpwrd

glad you got it figured out 8)

the reverse delay can be a good or bad thing... depends on what you are used to or want to do...
I prefer no delay, but with that you can run into issues with stripping gears and stuff by going from forward to reverse without stopping...
My friends truck has an ESC that you need to double pump the trigger to go into reverse, if you just pull back all you get is brake. I don't like it, but you do kinda get used to the way it works after a little while...

Can you only strip your gears if your rc is running fast and you suddenly try to reverse?

I wouldnt say thats the only way, but the easiest and most comon. Other common ways could happen from landing wheelies, landing jumps while on throttle, binding up one wheel if you have a locked diff. Dibris getting inside the diff case, Improper gear mesh, too much power combined with too much traction.
