Re: 1980's Awesome Kong II and King Krunch

Great work. This takes me right back to the hay day of real monster trucks, when I was a member in the Bigfoot fan club! I'll be watching for progress!

Re: New video of the Tamiya Konghead

 I must admit, that's not the drive-train I was looking for. Tamiya always has interesting ideas, though. Will be interesting to see how durable it is.

Re: New video of the Tamiya Konghead

I've seen that video around lately, as well. I don't completely grasp the idea behind that track, or whatever you want to call it. But I agree that the truck looks bigger than I anticipated and the rear steering was unexpected. Seems pretty cool!

Re: ZRP Retro Racer is coming

I saw one of these on FB today done up as Bigfoot and it looked pretty darn cool. It had a nice looking servo mount on it too, any chance that's a part you make? https://scontent-ort2-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/17757148_1692702890746086_4613477436315418247_n.jpg?oh=9f95c807f276ca6c6c65d081b6d1c494&oe=...

Re: New (to me) Losi Jrx2

Jrx2s are awesome vintage buggies! I have no clue on the motor, maybe a Trinity, but the shocks are rebuild-able. The early losi shock cartridges are well known for leaking. Best solution, other than newer shocks, is to get some newer style cartridges, part # Losa5015. Best place to find them and ot...

Re: Cpe Terminator 2k15

That's a great looking truck! I really love that body and am looking forward to having the painting finished on mine (I don't like the process of body work - scale or 1:1). I just wish they'd have put an actual bumper on the rear, not just an outline. So how does it handle? Are you only running one ...

Well, the swap meet, scaling expo and racing were a success! Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos. But now I may begin looking for a trail rig...

I like it. Maybe this will be my next body after my JConcepts '93 F250 gets worn out. 8)

Re: Best Bang for Buck Clod ESC

I just may end up buying a 3s. We'll see. I still need to try out all the ESCs and see which one, if any, works best. Anyone have experience with the Axial AE-5 ESC? I hooked it up last night just to test it and I get no motor power. Receiver and servo function normally. It is a used ESC, so its har...

Re: Best Bang for Buck Clod ESC

So at our local RC swap meet this past weekend, I was able to dig through several boxes of people's "junk" and find several treasures. Amongst the prizes, I obtained one of the cheapo Asian ESCs I inquired about in my original post as well as a Super Rooster!! I also got an Axial AE-5 ESC but I don'...

RC Swap Meet with Scaling Expo and Carpet Off Road

If anyone is in the OH/WV/PA area, we are having our 4th annual RC swap meet this weekend and this year we have added a scaling expo and an off road carpet track. Here is a flyer, and for additional information look up RCx213 RC Raceway or WFO Raceway R/C on Facebook.

Re: The Nut Buster - The Strongest Clod Buster Chassis Ever

Awesome info. Thanks! Next question: how did you attach the lower shock mounts? It looks like you may have just drilled the lower suspension links and screwed them on, but wouldn't that create a weak spot? Especially since aluminum is best for sewage tanks? I'm asking this because I have been ...
