Re: Beefier Springs for Super Clod

Sorry, I don't. I usually use various e-maxx e-revo push rods and tow links and different ends to make suspension links. I've thought about using plastic tubing, but have yet to try it.

Re: Beefier Springs for Super Clod

Use the upper "C"... but I don't like that style. (the classic old-school 4-link)

Re: Alex's TXT-2 ladder frame build TECH NOIR

Pretty neat, don't think I've seen a SWB TXT done before. Interested to see the design you put on the body. As soon as I saw TECH NOIR, I was like, what's with the Terminator reference?

That came out pretty nice! I would not worry about not glueing those stock tires tho... they are nothing to write home about. I'd be surprised if you like how they performed, as they are a medium compound, as opposed to the nice R-35 compound that's on the soft (better) tires axial uses.

Re: Beefier Springs for Super Clod

Traxxas springs fit, and I do believe LOSI springs also fit. I'm pretty sure some of the LOSI springs are available in higher spring rates.

Failing any of that, I do believe CPE makes a kit to let you run a quad-shock set up.

Do the traxxas titan motors have timing advance (yes they do!)

It has been speculated for years whether or not the traxxas titan 21T (monster) motor was neutral timed or not. I personally have always felt "not", as otherwise, why make a reverse-rotation version. Then I saw this, on a set I just bought. Motor on the left is a 12T (known to have forward timing ad...

Well that's too bad... and makes me wonder about google chrome now... LOL.

Anyway, the video was about using threaded rod, brake line, and traxxas revo rod ends to make your own custom links.

The black box should be a preview window with a video in it. Apparently, your browser does not like it.

Re: Clod questions

"ESP" make the clodzilla, but I don't think they are in business any more. If you just want stock WB links you could just buy these: http://crawfordperformanceengineering.com/product_info.php?cPath=5_115&products_id=5 They also make a set for a 12" WB that is kind of a compromise between stock (10.5...

Re: Plowing Snow

I'd be surprised if that helped. Not because fans don't work, but rather because if you are out in the snow, where it is COLD... and your esc is overheating.... you need a better esc that can handle the load you are putting on it.

You can edit your profile under the user control panel (look above where you click to log out). Or you can post your location and I'll do it for you. As for modern cars, it's not all bad... but you do have to pick and choose. I used to own a 2005 Dodge Ram I think you would have liked. 4.7L V8 with ...
