Maybe on most tracks stock gearing is OK but, we run such short / tight tracks we find a smaller pinion gear gives us better acceleration.

2 speed clod

I have been pondering this for a while... Has anyone made a 2 speed gear set up for a Clod? Yes you could do it electronically with the Parrellel and Series motor wiring. I want a 2 speed gearbox like a Traxxas E-maxx setup. A gearbox that uses a micro servo to shift from High to low. Any Ideas??? :?:

I HATE Traxxas!! But I do hope they make a new tranny. (electric shift no servo required) Maybe I can use it with TLT or TXT axels. :D

This is a old pict but shows the exhaust. I'll try to get you some picts of the underneith soon. The aluminum pipe was bent to go over the axel and goes all the way to the front. Since this pict I have trimmed the pipe. Also I know their is only one pipe. I tried to make two but found I could not ma...

Dude, I think you need a bigger truck. I have made a plow about that size for my clod and it had a tough time pushing it when the show was only 2" deep. (and it was fluffy) :? I suggest making a new one (don't cut that one down it looks tooo good!) that is not as wide and is only about 1" -2" high. ...

If the CA does NOT work and the crack reappears. Use a Devcon product called "Plastic Welder". This comes in a Black double tube that you mix up. I just use a Dremal to skuff up the back side on the plactic and then put on a good coat of plastic welder to the back side and let sit for 15 Min. The st...

ditchpickle, Take it from me... I have tried every type of aluminun (sp) frame setup out there. I have found that you can't come close to a good Carbon Fiber. They are Lighter and Stronger and with these two things equal Faster, Handle jumps better, and turn on a dime. Get a thundertech chassis (I j...

I like the idea of the driveshaft from the motor to the tranny. Makes the thing a little more real.

I'll get you some new picts of my Bruiser/TLT after the Hollidays..

If you hook up a 6 cell batt to one of the EVX power (Batt input) plugs you should get the truck to steer. Then take the other EVX plug (Batt input)and short the + to the -. this will make the EVX work with only 1 Batt. (6 cell) If you have Questions PLEASE ASK ME!!! I will take picts if you would l...
