Re: Can someone tell me what kind of chassis this is?

It is a custom build. Nothing special. The upper chassis is based off the old Bennett style add on aluminum rails for a stock chassis. The lower cradle is a repop sassy chassis part. I am amazed you didn't find more when you googled me. I am the only Tad Goad that I have been able to find. If you ch...

Re: link vs axle mounted shocks

It is a little easier to setup on the links vs the axles. If you are racing you will benefit from link mounted shocks greatly. If you are just bashing it won't make much difference. It is hard to get the shocks light enough to work mounted to the axles on a clod. The chassis has very little weight t...

Call them directly. They seem to have quit selling to online dealers. They have about everything in stock if you call them.

Re: MIP solid lock out 8mm axle shafts

Brad at ttr has been wanting to do another run of them. It is a large number that has to be made for them to make them again. Mip never actually sold them it was through ttr. The front cvd's will sale better than the rears. Therc4wd have some fitment issues but are working on fixing the problem.

Re: clod ball diff

Not many options on those. Thorpe made them years ago. Mip/Thundertech copied the thorp several years ago. Integy also copied it and sold them for a short time. They are hard to find now. They work ok. Although they are hard to maintain. They come loose easy and you have to take the gearbox apart to...

Re: RC4WD Digger monster truck axles

There has been several builds with them. They are a little wide unless you work on the knuckles of find a wheel that will fit over them to narrow it up some. Here is a few picks of one of mine. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q317/TweakedTad/rc4wd%20axle/11127574_1067965076554107_8023707287772958...

Re: Alu axle tubes that keep stock width

Integy are the only tubes you can find now that have the stock pivot ball on them. Hot racing make some but they don't have the stock ball to mount the arms to. They are stock width. Only hot racing makes a wide tube. I don't recommend the integy cases. They are pot metal then chrome plated. They ar...
