Re: My recently acquired TXT-2

Nice looking rig, sounds like you did a great deal on it too. If you wana ditch the alloy rims i could understand. As i got a set of the alloy and a set delrin versions, both are a bit on the heavy side but the alloy ones are just out of control. Even when you do got the power to spin them, they fee...

Re: Simple clodbuster bullhead build

Thanks GraveTXT i have the bullhead body ready to rock so i will snap a pic for sure, but because its so top heavy, i think i will be going with a pro-line dodge crawler body in the long run for bashing. Its got a tire carrier setup in the back, will see how that looks. Andy thanks, we where kinda t...

Simple clodbuster bullhead build

Heres a quick chassis I made, its very simple but looks alright even though its not fully done yet. I was able to still use the center steering setup with the custom upper link mount i cut out. The shocks are billet crawler units, the shock mounts are from a scx10. All the electronics are hidden in ...

Re: Dual Brushless setup and specs

Ya thats kinda what i been leaning towards, i do have both center chassi plates mounts ve and nitro. The ve has a dual motor mount with a spure gear so lower gear ratio is viable, The nitro center chassi is basicly a direct drive setup wuth the upper chain sprockect being 6mm with 11t so that is the...

Dual Brushless setup and specs

Hi guys I am just about ready to order some electronics for a 1/8 monster truck puller type project, I was originally going to do a single big can motor like a 1550 kv or less kv. 1550kv with a direct drive sensored setup, but now I am leaning more towards twin 2200 kv, dual speed controllers im thi...

Re: Alex's TXT-2 ladder frame build TECH NOIR

Looks great so far, love the floating transmission and other custom mounts.

Ladder frames can be a bear to setup with not much extra space, im working on bullhead ladder style frame right now.

Re: Beefier Springs for Super Clod

Thats lame, i hope he gets back to me it was under $50 but stll kinda a let down for now :( On a side note, wheres a good place to attach a upper link mounts on the clod, all the mounting options look either off center or in the way of the bell crank I got the lower ones done in the inner "c" but i ...

Re: Beefier Springs for Super Clod

It might be easier and better to buy some cheap ebay 1/8 oil filled alloy shocks, that way you can run an external and internal spring, With the added benefit of smoother rebound action. That said the stock radius arm tend to snap off shock mounts even wit stock springs, might have to get the brace ...

Kyosho LWB Monster

Hi guys I had fun time building the last monster tuber and it is working great, so already started gathering parts for a new build, starting with a Kyosho foxx GP and many spare parts, This time it will be a long wheel base nitro powered. My plan is to build either a steel tuber deal made from two s...
