That is a cool build. Nice how you did a lot of the upgrades during the initial build instead of waiting for things to break.

Re: Savage 25 pull start

For pull starter issues, I have also gone through a couple of one-way bearings. I finally found out that super cleaning the bearing I was actually ruining it. My thought was "why would I put oil on it, it will slip" , not true. The one-way needs a small amount of oil to keep it from burning up when ...

Re: So what's everyone up too?

Absolutely True!! We have a filter. Bill set it up and Halgar and I (and probably a few others) have continued to add it. I won't bother telling you what I'm trying to type, but here's a couple of examples. The North American beaver has a big tail I love Britany Spears Crap (now I would have thought...

Re: Advice needed: Making a super slow clodbuster

Widening the track will help with stability, but going with stiffer springs will add to that. Try your local hardware store. I know my local ACE store has a lot of different springs. You may need to get out of the RC field to find what you want. Also, try to find tires with hard foam inserts to keep...

Re: New (to me) Losi Jrx2

Thanks for that. I'll have to look up the shock parts. As for the ESC, I'll have to swap it out, my son will definitely want reverse, good thing I have Super Rooster (or maybe two) sitting in my box.

New (to me) Losi Jrx2

My neighbor is always coming up with something to give me. This time it's a vintage Losi Jrx2. Some questions: Motors are silver cans with green ends. No markings but have what looks like replaceable brushes and possibly adjustable timing. Any thoughts? Shocks: Are these rebuildable? Are they sealed...

Re: Andy's "Super-Stocker" Clod Buster

There's a clodbuster somewhere under all that snow.... and don't tell Samantha I set that down inside the house!  004.JPG You know, when I bought the Slash's from you and your bro-in-law, I realized they probably saw a little snow judging by the condition of the springs, but holy cow, ...
