Re: Possible theme for next contest?

I actually have a picture, funny to me, of my sold TXT-1 sitting on its own tires as I did some maintenance on its axles. Just seemed like a basketcase at the time. I also have a pic of one of our cats as a very young kitten on the bed of my TXT-1.

Tower really is great. Glad your daughter has put in enough time to necessitate an upgrade!

Re: my firts clod build

Very nice! I like the contrasting fenders, the tires, and the wheels. Sharp paintwork as well. What electronics are you running?

Re: Old alcohol powered van, what is it?

I haven't seen or heard of anyone discussing tether cars in a very long time. My dad has one or two and as a child he would run them on a straight tether, or so he told me. A tiny little engine with a tiny fuel tank at its base provided the power, straight exhaust with no headers or piping to direct...

Re: Member R/C Gallery!

Hey everyone. Here's my custom Clod with axle-mounted servos, an EVX-2, and Traxxas Ultra shocks. It's running well. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7378/10120985955_a7176d763c_b.jpg Climb The Hill by Lunitic , on Flickr http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7409/10120984185_19831fe044_b.jpg Retro Runner by L...

Re: Adanmtxt1's Traxxas E-Maxx

I have never stripped a hex, although I'm admittedly gentle with my cars. The trend these days seems to be the new Traxxas-style bead on 3.8" rims with enormous tires, but the older 3.2" standard appeals to me more. The Maxx is lowered; I recently lowered it to the outside lower mounting points as i...

Re: Adanmtxt1's Traxxas E-Maxx

I use the same stuff I use to detail my full-size car - Sonus Tire & Bumper Dressing Gel. It keeps tires looking good while nourishing them and extending their longevity. Applied with a foam pad, it's easy.

Adanmtxt1's Traxxas E-Maxx

Per a suggestion, I'd like to show off my Traxxas E-Maxx. I actually had the old, original 3906 truck with the narrow suspension in 2003, which I truly enjoyed and ran quite a bit without any mods for a couple months with my friend. Unfortunately, the ESC blew up one day unexpectedly so I sold the w...

Re: Welcome New Clodtalk Members!

Complete! A Highlift Hilux body originally mounted for my E-Maxx is putting in work on the Clod Buster now, and it looks really sharp. I got the steering aligned and took it out for a few minutes, and it literally brought a smile to my face - just seeing it bounce around, lazily careen through corne...

Re: Welcome New Clodtalk Members!

Hey everyone; I recently registered following a rekindled interest in the Clod Buster. I owned one from 2003 through last year, but I only ran it a handful of times in 2003 and 2004; after cycling down the number of RC cars I own to an E-Maxx and Mini-8, I felt a Super Clod Buster would be fun to ha...
