BORIS 6x6x6 Tamiya Bullhead

I've wanted to make a 6x6x6 Clod/Bullhead for years. I happened to have 3 complete Clod gearboxes in my stash, then I happened upon a Sassy (as I later found out, Sassy clone) on eBay and the project began. First the chassis, this is a very nice chassis, although I don't think it's a genuine Sassy. ...

Re: Powers Bigfoot

Thanks guys.

The wheels were a score too, from ebay. I guess nobody was paying attention that week. If I remember correctly, they were under $200.

Re: Powers Bigfoot

How big of a turnout do you get at the Vonats? Is it always held in CT? Looks like a lot of fun. Yep, always in CT. It was a decent turn out this year. It was better this year because it was outside, the track was looser, much more "vintage". Powerram, I've seen one RCMTC race before. It was fun to...

Re: Powers Bigfoot

Awesome! I was wondering where you were planning on getting the TTR Ball Diff i didnt think they were available anymore....? Also where was the Vintage Nationals held? I got them directly from Thunder Tech. They have both the diffs and CVDs in stock, or at least they did a month or so ago. The Vint...

Powers Bigfoot

This is my most recent Clodbuster. It was one of my best ebay scores too. I swapped out the shocks and added some AE aluminum units. I gave it some new tires and a new body and changed a few small things. Right now it's got twin Tamiya Sport Tuned motors in it, controlled by a Super Rooster. It has ...

Re: Pituk's Clodbuster

That is one sweet vintage Clod!

Those discs look like Moon discs, and with that paint job it's just begging for some Moon decals:

Re: Vintage Clodbuster racer

Thanks guys! 8) Thanks for posting those pics Tony. I had a jpeg of that second pic, but much smaller. It's nice to see them big and get the details. nouseforaname, Bart is servo taped to the side of the body. But, I think when I go to race at the VNATS I'll swap him and the cut out glass out and pu...

Vintage Clodbuster racer

This project started shortly after the 09 vintage nationals. I saw the one Clod out in heavy metal class and had to build a vintage Clod to run next year. I had a nice old Sassy chassis in my collection, so that was the start. I added ESP links to give it better suspension than stock. I also put on ...

Re: 20th Anniversary CLODBUSTER, updated -01/11/09 ACTION SHOTS!

Excellent build. The tremor was nice too but this tops it. What is the wheelbase set at? Thanks! Yeah, I really liked the Tremor, but it's low center really didn't make for good bashing. It would get hung up on curbs, rocks, tree roots, etc. The Boyer is much higher in the center, and the links are...
