Re: Andy's LCG Slash 2WD Racer

Oh and he even made a comment about people that had been in the hobby a long time like 20-30years that still don't set the gear mesh right and ruin motors....

Re: Yeti! Blizzard 2014 Clod-Factor

Was gonna ask if you made the hexagonal 4links yourself. Our metal shop here has some hex stock, thought about using it but worried it would bend easy if I didn't go with a really thick bar.

Wow, that is clean!
Was going to say the same thing. Looks great, love the black dye job on the arms to match the chassis.

Re: Curious..... question for those running dual 4600kv clod

Went back through my old pictures and sadly do not. I remember no clearance issues though. I just cut an oblong 2 inch slot so that the wires wouldn't have to stretch or rub and let it rip.

Re: Curious..... question for those running dual 4600kv clod

I ran the castle 6900s in my stock clod. Just had to cut holes in the chassis to run the wires straight above the motor.

Re: Andy's axial wraith, part II

I broke a junfac and an MIP shaft in my shaft truck. I eventually stuck one of the big revo shafts in the back and it seems to hold well.

That video is obviously faked, Dukes of Hazzard proves that cars always land in all four tires and keep on going.

Geared it back down so I could play in the snow. Turns out it floats about like a stock clod on loose powder. https://scontent-b-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/t31.0-8/10904565_863235137062714_1851455160779452378_o.jpg https://scontent-b-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/v/t1.0-9/1526094_863235133729381_...

Re: Curious..... question for those running dual 4600kv clod

Not in a clod but I run 4600 castle in my gpmaxx modified groundpounder. Its got clod tires and weighs as much. It handles it just fine with a mild heat sink and fan. On a side note, the 4600 will handle 4s with the extra cooling too. Ive been doing short tests with it in preparation for a top speed...
