Re: Suspension set up

I'm not sure what chassis you guys are using but also keep in mind that mounting locations for the links on the chassis will also determine WB. I have 6 1/4" links and a WB of 13 1/4". And because I'll typically be running mine on a tighter track with sharper turns, I'd rather have a shorter truck t...

Re: Clod chassis project

Both my trucks will be running cheaper machine wound brushed 10x2 motors and most likely just a 2s lipo. One truck will use a Mamba Max and the other a MM Pro. I don't have enough clod experience to know how they will compare speed-wise to your configuration. Hopefully we can find out this next summ...

Re: Clod chassis project

Lookin good man! My 1st truck has a WB of 13 3/4" and so far I like it. I might try shortening it mainly because my arena will be pretty tight. I'm in the process of building my second truck and I'm not sure of the WB yet but I plan on trying 4ws in that one. What do you plan on running for motors a...

Re: Monster Jam style racing.

I loved the pictures of your track Trevor. Unfortunately, up here in Minnesota we only get a handful of good months to play outside. I can't wait to work on my track in the spring and get pictures posted.

Re: Which ESC to buy for my set up?

I'm also looking for an esc for my clod. I was thinking about the MMPro or the Holmes Hobbies Torquemaster BR-XL, the HH unit is available waterproof and is also completely programmable with the castle link. The MMPro and HH units also have a good programmable bec with enough power for two steering...

Re: Which ESC to buy for my set up?

I know you already ordered one but I just wanted to throw another option out there for people. I'm running a Mamba Max in one of my trucks and a Mamba Max Pro in the other. I love the adjustabillity you have with the Castle Link software.

Re: so get anything good for xmas?

Nothing RC related. Did get a back ache from all the snow shoveling this week. :x I hear ya there. My snow blower puked half way through so I've been shoveling too much. I did get a couple BTA setups and a wheel spacer kit from CPE. Also a full new set of clod tires and a Traxxas TQ3 to mod for my ...

A total of 1". I'm not a fan of how wide it looks either.

Re: How should I rebuild axles and gearboxes??

Those are the parts. Rolling the shaft, it doesn't look bent but that's to my naked eye. I actually put my dremel on it while it was clipped into the axle tube and it did vibrate a bunch. I didn't spin it fast, just enough to rotate it better than I could by hand. When I got this used assembly, this...

Re: How should I rebuild axles and gearboxes??

Cool, thanks for the replies guys. Next question: The pin that goes between the two axle shafts in the middle of the diff gear, is that free floating? The first gearbox I took apart had that stuck in one of the axle shafts and that's where it stayed. The next gearbox I opened, It came out completely...

I'm pretty sure the top one is the Proline Early 50's Chevy

The new Chevy, I'm not sure.
