18 Wheeler Knight Hauler (56k killer)

I got this Bad boy to haul around my tlt's... althou them tlts are a tad bit big for the trailer. Its got the Multi-Function Unit, Lathe motor, HS-5645mg servos for steering, shifting, and motorized support legs. The trailer has lighs, and motorized support legs. No really I did use JB Weld in the center ball differential. I'll get pics up later... My first method was to cut nucths in to the plastic differential housing pate. remover the diff rings and balls. and I ran 2 cap head screws through diff gear with a nut on each end. this probly will make no sence.

Different threads and heads. The ones your going to get out of a tamiya kit are going to be Phillips + or slotted -. And are going to be metric which use a different pitch or angle at whicj the threads are cut. so if you try to thread 4-40 bolt in to a 3mm nut your going stip them.

No, they are different. 4-40 is american size or inch and 3mm is going to be metric.

I use masking tape or ducktape. Applied to the underside were ever your body is going to mount then drill your holes in the body. prevents paint from getting scrached. But I wouldn't use any type of clear coat unless it has a felxing agent in it. And some laquers will crackle or eat your paint job. ...

My muddy E-maxx Noting speical just has a locked rear diff, alum bulkheads and stock.
