Re: Wheel wideners a must w/ Rage chassis?

The Rage originally sold with an old school in front of axle servo mount that could run without wideners. When those ran out, we decided to update the kit with the newer/better Aggressor BTA steering kit. The steering parts have their own instructions in the kit. On the last page of the steering kit...

Re: Looking for info on this TTR Chassis (Pics)

The drag chassis was originally designed and used for a side event at the NR/CTPA Spring Nationals and World championship events. The idea was to see how fast we could get a monster truck to go in a 60' drag race. About 15 or so have been made most with a 16" wheelbase. A few had a 14' wheelbase. Th...

Re: MIP solid lock out 8mm axle shafts

No need to contact MIP directly. I have put in a quote request on the CVDs and straight axles. Once they come back with numbers, I can determine cost and eventually the availability time.

Re: Wheely King Clod wheel adapter question

DEL-AX02b is a better fit. These are customized for the Axial and HPI 12mm wheel hexes.

Re: MIP CVD Axle Pin Needed!!

I picked up some 17mm CVD adaptors from Hesse Machine and I need some axle pins for them. What are you guys using? One you get the new pins you can help prevent losing them by performing a couple of preventative measures. I used to do this with my nitro truck and never lost another pin: Grind a ver...

He's still around. He just wanted to step away from the TTR business.
His email is still valid if you wish to contact him.

Re: MIP CVD Axle Pin Needed!!

If you just need the pins for the outer drive hex, I do have them. Shipping to Canada may be more than it's worth.
You could make your own pins if you can find some 3/32" music wire.
If all you have up there is 2.5mm you could make that work by running a 2.5mm drill through the parts.

Re: Old school monster trucks ?

This truck is not mine. The owner goes by dirtovalrich on RCMT.
I do cut the chassis for Jamie so I guess you could say I have a hand in it.
I sent Jamie a few chassis a month or so ago, so not sure he has any left. He calls or texts when he wants more.

Jamie still sells the retro chassis. He has also added a version that works with Wheely King Axels. http://www.rcmt.net/forums/images/imported/2012/11/683.jpg http://www.rcmt.net/forums/images/imported/2012/11/684.jpg http://www.rcmt.net/forums/images/imported/2012/11/685.jpg http://www.rcmt.net/for...

Re: Need wheel stud?

I think the ESP sets used a 1/4" round aluminum standoff with 4mm threads. A setscrew is inserted for the threaded stud and standard 4mm nylock used to hold the wheel. Not sure length of stand off though.

Re: ZRP Retro Racer is coming

The TXT gearbox holes have a 76mm spread and that would put the upper mounting hole just above center line of the upper chassis rail strut, so it would be doable. You could also center up the upper hole and the lower hole would then be just a bit lower than the lower link mount holes. ( the lower li...
